I totally agree with this. I use Tiger, too, and am a bit allergic to
software that is dropping support, at the moment. For example Apple
didn't managed to get out a working Java 6 in Tiger at a time when
every other OS had it. Since Leopard the situation hasn't changed
slightly, which I find totally ridiculous. But this is relative. It
is one thing for a commercial organization with a userbase of
millions and another thing for a non-commercial organization with a
much less userbase.
