We should also require a student to be checking in their code. We
should also NOT be afraid to fail people if they aren't performing
midway through. We should come up with some clear criteria in this
area, and I'd suggest mentioning this new plan to Google in our
application -- our success rate last year was not that good.
Does anyone think that having an interview session on IRC with
potential candidates would be a good idea?
I am in for being a mentor, btw.
