Updated and committed in [17670]... looks like we've still got some
libgaim regressions though. Jabber, at least, is crashing-on-connect
with:

I'm compiling current gaim to see if i can get a more informative
stack trace with line numbers... I used to be able to do that with
libgaim, but somewhere along the chain a build setting is messed up
for that, I think.
