True. However, if you look at our Sparkle stats for this year (http://adium.im/sparkle/?year=2012&week=*&graph=bar#IMServices), you will find that very few use Twitter and while Adium's support for it fits my very basic needs I can see why many others feel different about that. It's very much like with IRC: we have basic support for the service but it appears it doesn't meet the requirements of many users.
