Infra upgrade proposal (with patch!): Multiple nightlies

Sorry about the late response. Sometimes, one gets drowned in emails.

I can't comment on the patch itself but the idea is great. Having a nightly for the "stable" branch seems the most useful of enhancements to me but being able to test feature branches without too much hassle is cool, too.
