I can recommend hanging out on irc in #adium-devl on irc.freenode.net, if you want to join up in discussions on the development of Adium. Currently it is a bit quiet, but things happen from time to time!

Otherwise, just pick a random ticket on trac that has no one assigned to it, and start fixing. Size doesn't matter, and feel free to go on anything you find interesting.
