Most of these look good. My comments:

----
Allow, Deny: Allow looks a lot like a Deny icon to me. Maybe make the
Deny icon the same as Allow, but with a dimmer (seemingly-unlit) red
bit in the center.
I'm also not clear on what Allow is for.
Authorize: I like the non-alternate version. The alternate version
looks like Allow/Deny turned 90°.
Ignore: Could mean anything, and it's just a yellow version of “No
User Level”, which is way too strong a visual relationship for two
elements that have nothing to do with each other.

Block: Way too much shine. It's actually drowning out the checkmark.
Background elements should not shout down foreground elements.

Default Client: Select among different Adiums? It might be better to
make the two background icons generic application icons. Or, perhaps,
a blue speech balloon on the left (evoking iChat) and a sea-green
humanoid figure on the right (evoking MSN).

Notify: Obscure.
How about Adiumy with a horn blaring at his head and an exclamation
point over his head?

Message{, (Alt.)}, Mention{, (Alt.)}: On both of these, I like the
alternate version better.
Message Alerts: The shadow is too big on both of these. I think we may
want to stick with the strobe light.

No User Level: Could mean anything. I like the human figure better.
Voice (3): Good. Inherits the historical use of + to indicate voice.
Some people may mistake it for a Christian shield, so we should
probably consider this a temporary icon and switch to something
completely different later.
Voice (1), (2): I don't know what these icons mean.
Voice (4): English-centric, so nix.
Op, Half-Op: Good.
Founder: Good concept, but this looks a bit too sunrise-like. Maybe
simplify it to a circlet with only the center pointy bit.
----

If you don't want to do any of the alternatives I've suggested, that's
OK. Maybe someone else would like to take them on.

And, of course, constructive discussion of your submissions and these
comments is welcome.
