getting started with contributions

Hi Luke,

I just go to the road map and click on one of the milestones and go  
through the tickets looking for ones I am capable of fixing, then fix  
them and submit a patch. I find the doxygen very helpful to work with  
parts of the code I'm not familiar with... I really like the  
inheritance tree it has.
