Darren,
Let's wait and see as far as price and what not goes, but I would like
to point out that Mobile Colloquy does cost money and I haven't heard
anyone complaining about that.
Also, you're contradicting yourself. Are Adium users or aren't they
going to expect a mobile version to be like the desktop version? I'd
suggest rethinking your arguments -- maybe you have other, non
contradictory reasons for supporting your positions, or maybe you need
to adjust them.
We will welcome any comers to the effort to get Adium on the iPhone
running. The most helpful thing right now would be to get libpurple
building for ARM. Any assistance you can provide there would be
greatly appreciated. Maybe one of your instructors is a GCC wizard, or
knows one?
