While it does, it's definitely a lot harder, and you can't do it from
the actual groups page. You have to go to google, do a site-specific
search, and even then you can't respond to a thread from the webpage.

We get a ridiculous amount of spam on our mailing lists. Our spam
assassin is set at a decently conservative level and a bunch still
comes through. Having google's amazing spam filters on our side would
definitely be a good thing.
