[Adium-devl] Moving devl/svn to google groups?

How does everyone feel about moving devl/commits to google groups?
I've taken the liberty of registering adium-devl and adium-commits as
group names,

Upsides:
 * Searchable archives.
 * Ease of registration.
 * Lets us continue discussion (i.e., "the server is down!!!") if the
server is down.
 * Easy online, conversation viewing (like gmail) - which pipermail
significantly lacks.
 * No separation by months of archives; just the entire list.

Downsides:
 * Ease of registration (yes, it's twice—our users can be annoying sometimes ;))
 * Moving away from our own infrastructure takes away some level of control.
 * Google groups can sometimes be slow about posting new messages.
