Well, yes. It's not that hard to push the build button... The hard
part is changing the #includes, as I don't know the project code.
If I want to build a adium version with msn-pecan, what needs to be
changed? Let's assume that I download Adium directly from SVN.

You're right, of course. On the other hand, between Adium users this
can be done without a great amoung of work no?
My original idea was to use only the Adium application to parse the
html and then have the message style layer interpret the content.
I think this is similar to what Adium currently does with its smiles,
am I right?
