Once Google Talk is updated to use Jingle as defined in XEPs 166, 167,
and 176, you won't need a special spec to define interop with Google
Talk. And that updating is on the way. Patience. :)

Now, whether it will all Just Work[tm] may depend on which codecs they
support for voice and video...
