This was what I was suggesting before, but it made me realize that the  
best possible solution is sub-statuses per account like Pidgin does.  
An outline view, checking accounts which have a different status than  
the global one being set.

By default, check FB/Twitter accounts for the status with a blank  
message. Boom, perfect, and doesn't force us into a separate system  
for changing it. In fact, this is a pretty often requested  
implementation (separate away messages per account, so work can be  
invisible and home can be available, without a huge annoying task).
