Absolutely right, thanks - slip-of-the-tongue.  I meant to say, "the  
most recent libpurple release."  Adium 1.2.7 uses libpurple 2.4.3,  
which of course is from im.pidgin.pidgin.2.4.3.

*nod* If it can't happen, it can't happen.  It's ultimately up to  
everyone involved wanting to work together, and that's something  
nobody can force.  That's the last we'll say about that, except:  I  
appreciate that both you, John, and Felipe have done your best to keep  
the discussion on adium-devl in objective terms. :)
