[Adium-devl] MSN: pecan vs libpurple

Hey guys,
Things are starting to get a bit crazy so I think it's finally time to weigh
in.  1.3 needs to ship.  That's the bottom line.  We committed to the switch
to pecan and at this point we need to stick with it.  If the plan it to move
back to libpurple in the long term (and yes, I do agree with that), let's
branch and work on doing so there (Colin let's put your custom emotes there
as well) and target 1.4 with it.  I think we've got a lot of good things in
1.3 already and we need to get it finished up so we can distribute it to the
masses.

P.S. Devs: Please check Trac, if you have tickets assigned to you I'd like
you to take a look and decide whether or not it needs to be done for 1.3, if
it's doable in a timely fashion, or if it can be bumped to a later release.
