[Adium-devl] Trac needs a plugin installed, who has admin access to do so?

What you are actually wanting is a patch attached to a ticket on  
edgewall that would get applied to the source for the current plugin  
we have, not some other authentication scheme plugin. I told you why  
I didn't do it before, but I'll reiterate it here again, that what we  
have right now works pretty well, and that I don't want to tempt fate  
until we have some bigger amount of administrative work to do at the  
same time.

We have specific changes we got done to our current authentication  
plugin egg that the plugin author did *just for us*. We're not going  
to change authentication schemes any time soon.
