I'm certainly in for that... this is pretty weak information  
obviously, but those are the only two window modes that any of my  
friends use and the only ones I've switched between in the past before  
as well.

Don't forget the extra benefit in that if/when we add an 'events  
bar' (similar to Pidgin's) to the contact list as well as the search  
field to the borderless contact window, this will make it considerably  
simpler - no need to taylor one for borderless, one for group bubbles  
and one for contact bubbles to fit. This goes for any other contact  
list enhancements as well...
