[Adium-devl] Focus/What are we doing?

I believe the reason that so much attention is given to VV, at least  
from some of the users, is due to the short-comings of the official  
clients on the Mac. None of them implement the voice and video which  
is already present of the Windows side, so Mac users are looking for  
a way to talk to their Windows friends easily.

Yes, "Adium isn't *all about* VV", but it is certainly a feature that  
stands out.

For me, Adium has been about the following things:
   - Easy to use
   - Easy to communicate
   - Elegant, ie it looks good and looks like it was made for the Mac  
with care and deligence
   - Invalidates the need for running separate IMs
   - Provide functionality to the Mac that the official IMs fail to

Everything else is just icing on the cake.
