We shan't be attracting your legal ire, Sean. Or any other kind, I
hope, except that one kind you know I like so much.

*nod* Most developers and many developer-wanna-bes will be running
beta versions of OS X 10.5 "Leopard". Besides allowing them (and by
them, I include multiple people on the Adium team) to run Adium now,
it would be very nice if, when Leopard is officially released, the
version of Adium which is in the wild and has been in the wild for
some time runs well on it.
For closed source apps, this isn't a problem; 95% of commercial
applications worth their salt will be running without a hitch on
Leopard. Unfortunately, our openness presents a problem, as we're
seeing here.
I look forward to hearing about any other solutions y'all can come up
with, David :)
