It'd be fantastic if Adium were available on the iPhone.  I'm not in  
the least a web programmer and don't know what is necessary for  
something like this to work from that angle, but I imagine it would  
also require accessibility via an Adium plugin on the desktop side.   
I know another open source project, the IRC client Colloquy, has done  
something similar.  I'm cc'ing the Adium development list - please  
feel free to fill the team in on your thoughts and questions!
