Hey guys,

Just wanted to give everyone a little update on the state of UPnP.
Evan and I have been working on it for a little over a week now, and
Evan wrote up a small patch that he diff'd to me, which I then
proceeded to make a build and distribute to Eric, who has been our
very patient UPnP crash tester.

Early indication seems to suggest that it works, and that good sense
prevails and that all is right in the universe. As we near release
I'm going to take a look at one last thing, related to zero-length
headers and the infamous "sending party never gets the cancel message
but receiving party gets a cancel message right away" bug, and
possibly Eric's propensity to not have Save As file transfers appear
in the message view.

Basically this is a thank you message to Evan and Eric, but more
importantly everyone that contributes. Thanks for all your help and
encouragement. I think if we look back to the joscar switch, there
was a lot of work to be done, and in general the consensus was that
we were all really beat and just wanted to get this thing out. I
think all of our hard work has paid off, and in just a few days,
everyone will know how much. So just keep your heads high over the
next few days, whether your taking screenshots, writing help
documentation (contact Eric if you want to help), pressing out those
last few bugs, taking care of localization, or polishing off
installer graphics and updating the website, cleaning up Trac,
helping keep IRC clean, helping all of us keep organized, testing
particularly annoying last minute bugs, updating web server stuff, or
just hanging out in general. We've all done a whole lot of work to
make this a great release, through thick and thin, we've got this.
Buckle down, and push through the work to polish off the release. In
a few days we can all kick back, relax, and celebrate. Of course,
shortly thereafter, we have to think about 1.01, but let's not get
ahead of ourselves. ;)
