The subject says it all... after much ado, come hell or high water,
we'll release Adium 1.0 on Feb 1.
By then, we should have Trac (0.10.3) and Subversion (1.4.2) up and
running on the NetworkRedux adiumx.com dedicated machine. Chris is
coordinating that move with our networkredux friends.
Peter is going to organize, cleanup, and prepare the 1.0 changelog.
On the morning of the 31st, I'll commit final localization changes (I
have Danish, Finnish, and Polish changes in the queue; translators,
last chance!), update Libgaim to include any last minute fixes
(Elliott, any luck with the UPNP bug?), and write up the press
release we'll post to the blog and send to sites like macnn to go
with the release.
We'll do 1.0rc1 early in the day (eastern time); it'll be identical
to the release except for the version number, so adium-devl, #adium,
and on-their-toes beta testers can make sure there are no new issues.
There are some remaining problems, of course, but with 653 tickets
closed and numerous other improvements and enhancements which never
got ticketed, blocking on perfection will leave us hanging around
with no release forever.
