If it's based on SIP, then it may be possible to implement Gizmo the  
same way.

Are iChat (over Jabber, of course) and Gizmo compatible with each other?

Possible reasons why not:

a. Gizmo only uses the Jabber stream for chat, not for VV.
b. Gizmo uses a different codec that iChat doesn't know about, and  
vice versa.

It'd be neat if we could pick up both iChat AV and Gizmo with not  
much more work than one alone…
