Yes, I can and will contact some people I know there. I doubt they'll  
be able to tell us a whole lot more than what we already know -- is  
there any specific issue we're trying to resolve here, other than  
"how's it work, golly!", which is not likely to elicit a detailed  
technical response -- but if they know we're looking at copying their  
solution, perhaps they'll BSD it (*shrug*).
