  I think changelog is mostly useful if you link to it from "new  
version" announcements, and if you make (a condensed form of) it  
available when you download via Sparkle, but otherwise, I'd just hide  
a copy in the documentation for those that are interested in such stuff.

  What I'd really like would be if one could set a flag in a ZIP file  
to auto-open its window when extracted and give it a custom window  
background. That would have the advantage that it could be zipped  
into a regular folder, while maintaining most of the advantages a DMG  
has these days. If anyone else thinks that way, join me in filing a bug.
