I think one of the main issues is with Apple's crash reporter. If I  
crash Adium and click "relaunch" in the Apple dialogue, I end up with  
multiple contact lists and multiple EMDs, though only one instance of  
Adium in my dock. I was kind of surprised to hear that we're doing  
this. It seems like such an ugly hack. It is such and ugly hack. I'd  
be happy to see it gone.
