[Adium-devl] 1.0 plan

Hey folks,

	I think we'd all like to get 1.0 before Halloween. So here is the  
plan to do it:

1) Brian and I are going through the 1.0 milestone, removing things  
which should not be in there. Anything left is going to be set to  
either a blocker or a regression and assigned to someone. Anything  
that gets moved will get moved to "sometime after 1.0". If anyone  
else would like to help with this, that would be great.

If you want to do this, I've been sorting by component, it makes  
things easier to digest. We went from 88 before we started last night  
to 66, I think that's a pretty good jump. Some of that went to "needs  
feedback" though.

2) We will not release without having gone through the rest of the  
New tickets (less than 100 now thanks to the ticket techs) and the  
"Needs Feedback From Users" milestone. Simply put, we need to make  
sure we address what we can and not miss really important stuff.

I've asked edr to go through the Needs Feedback milestone after the  
New tickets reach 0, but any help there would probably speed things up.

If a ticket has not been responded to in 2 weeks, go ahead and close it.

3) A lot of tickets are being assigned to people in the 1.0  
milestone. The goal is to get all tickets assigned to people here. If  
you see a ticket you would like to fix, and can fix it in a timely  
manner, go ahead and assign it to yourself and accept it.

4) Please accept tickets assigned to yourself. If you have been  
assigned a ticket which you know you cannot do, please reassign it to  
"pleasereassign". This should help to differentiate any new ticket  
from one that just needs to be reassignment. Also put in why you  
can't work on it so that there is a better understanding of who  
should take on that ticket.

5) Starting next week, I'll be sending emails to the devl list once a  
week asking for ticket status updates on items. This is so that we  
know if a ticket needs to be worked on by someone else.

This isn't to try to be mean, it's just to try to get things done and  
get 1.0 out. We need to get it out so we can address the SoC projects  
as quickly as possible.
