subscribed to this list until just now and I'm attempting to hack
together a faux reply)

Thanks for forwarding that, Eric.

Tomasz had only suggested that he help you make the necessary changes
to the Adium code to continue working correctly with whatever API
changes we've made to libpurple 3.0.0 (which will hopefully be
released in a few months).

If anyone has other suggestions for tasks that might be good for him,
by all means leave a comment on the doc[1] (or email me directly).
Tasks closely related to libpurple are good. Also tasks related to
improving user security and privacy. I have no idea whether Tomasz has
OS X or Cocoa experience... I'm guessing tasks related to UI and user
interaction are less likely to be considered for this, but feel free
to suggest them and we can figure out if it's appropriate.

And of course feel free to tell us to buzz off, if you're worried that
we'll do more harm than good.
