Off the cuff reaction: I have no preference for person vs duck in a
general sense, but I do think that in either case we need more than
just a head. Head + shoulders is much better, though for Adiumy
perhaps not as nice as a full body silhouette. So from the given
images, Adiumy is at a disadvantage and the person is preferable. Due
to the space limitations, Adiumy may not ever work as well.
