Notification Center support

Hey everyone,

from what I've gathered across our different support venues (Twitter, forums etc.) Notification Center support (ticket on Adium Trac) is the most-requested feature currently. It also appears that most of you are interested in it as well.

However, we need to figure out how we want to go about adding NotificatioN Center support. Zac stated his opinion in reply to a pull request. Do you agree with that approach?
