It is not at all polished or advanced, but the basic idea is already implemented in http://adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=7683. Can filter on substrings or regular expressions and can also apply to authorization requests.
If you have more ideas for it, you're welcome to base something on it, of course. :)
