Biggest thing that jumps out at me is that one of these is (ignoring the text alignment -- speaking visually) left aligned and the other is center aligned. Personally I think the center aligned style of the Adium Help thing looks better. Only other thing was the margins on the top could be reduced a bit.
It might also be worth it to move hot issues above the fold (possibly even above search).
Overall though, I like it a lot. I think this will be a huge help to users. Thank you, Thijs, for stepping up.
