Adium "Book" - Opinions on Writing Style

Greetings.

I would like to present a very (VERY) small section from an Adium "book"
(more of a polished, refined guide) I'm working on with Rob-to86. We only
started the idea for the book a few hours before this e-mail has been sent,
so this is quite literally the first draft of the first chapter.

I'm looking for opinions on the writing style employed in the text. Mainly
the tone and the use of "jokes".
