So I can understand the implementation a little better. Neither Adium
or libpurple are designed to help you in your implementing your
protocol, right?
What I mean by this is I could not find any API for opening a socket,
sending authentication information, parsing the responses, etc.
I do see the API to wrap those events in callbacks so Adium/Libpurple
can deal with them.
Is this correct?
