+1.  It looks like the main protocol task is adding the X-FACEBOOK-PLATFORM
SASL mechanism into libpurple.  While we're in there, it would be great if a
SASL authentication failure caused an error to bubble up, rather than
waiting for a network error when the socket gets disconnected.
