Jingle implementation.

Hey guys,
	Well i'l keep this short. I've decided to port jingle over to the Mac. I'm still in the planning stages and have got a year to spare till i graduate from college. So how do i go about it? 

This is basically the ground plans as of now (its not really fixed just did a few hour of research) :

1. Code from the Source code given by google. http://code.google.com/apis/talk/libjingle/developer_guide.html 
2. Use the Adium lib. for the XMPP background work.
3. Work on the P2P session connection by either porting or going with a bottom top approach.

By the end i wish to Implement File transfer cause Networking is my strong point, i leave the A/V to you people for now.

Now here is where i need help? you have more experience & knowledge of file transfers etc and i know this has project has ran aground quite a few times. so now i ask you, is there a better alternative method? 

BTW: i might have done a few projects here and there. so i'm not giving any promises.
