Adium and multiple connections to GTalk

Hi,
Google has pinged me again (they did a few months ago, as well) about a
potentially bad issue we're doing: connecting multiple times to GTalk on
behalf of the user.

We should try and figure this out. Pidgin isn't exhibiting the behavior, so
we must be doing something wrong when talking to libpurple.
