Hi,
Pidgin 2.5.6 should be out relatively soon. I propose that 1.3.4 rc1
be a 2.5.6-final push, followed a few days later by an official 1.3.4
release. I added 1.3.4b2 earlier with a then-current
im.pidgin.pidgin.2.5.6, though it's become outdated over the course of
the evening; I'm betting it'll be moreso by the time 2.5.6 is out.
After 1.3.4 is released, I intend to create 1.4a1. We've still got a
few problems that need attending[1], but I've got most of it sorted
into the right severity groupings. 1.4a1 is probably going to come
regardless of the bugs not-yet-fixed. The regressions are obviously
important, moreso than anything else, but since it's an alpha I'm okay
with pushing it with a few bugs.
We need the alpha, really, to confirm a lot of the internals we've
changed. Nightlies have helped -tremendously- with staving off some
random edge-case bugs, I'm really happy with the reports received from
them and the kind of users who are using them.
Finals end Monday for me, followed by 2 weeks of peace and quiet.
Hopefully it'll give me enough time to get a lot done. :-D
Zac
