You can also get an RSS feed of changes from hgweb. http://hg.adiumx.com/adium/rss-log 
. This produces pretty nice output, similar to what you had before.

I am curious though: If you're following Adium development, are you  
planning on contributing? Is there anything keeping you from doing this?
