I like the middle idea. As long as nobody could confuse that plug-in  
with our official implementation without a high blood alcohol content,  
I'm fine with having it there. Conversely, if it's too confusing to  
users, I have no problem pulling it.

Also, it's possible that they don't follow the blog, so maybe they  
didn't know that we have Twitter support in 1.4. ☺
