Well that saves having to use NetworkLocation app to do that.
Currently I launch a separate applescript to setup my proxy settings
for when I'm at work. and I have a separate script that I run when I'm
off their network and not behind a proxy so this is a welcome addition.
The idea is to have only one account that can be configured (based on
location). Not many accounts one for each location.
I support anything that allows rules to determine location and attach
profiles to how the account is configured.
such rules can include network ie. ip address, airport basestation
presence or external drive volumes.
