Documentation, HOWTO for wrapping Adium plugin around libpurple?

I am attempting to create a new Account plugin.

I used the dated HOWTO at 
http://trac.adium.im/wiki/TobysGuideToPluginAuthoring for getting my 
skeleton plugin.

finished off a simple plugin that would compile, install, and generally 
work.

What I really want to do is make a new Account(?) plugin, something 
similar to Facebook functionality that is in Adium. Or the NateOn 
service plugin over at AdiumXtras.

Is there any documentation or HOWTOs for making these type of plugins?

I see some similar names classes between NateOn and Facebook.
