Both? That's what Keynote Remote does. When you add a new mac to it on  
the iPhone, it lists all Macs running Keynote on the network. You can  
pick one. Then it generates a random 6 digit numeric password and  
displays it on the iPhone. On the Mac, Keynote opens a dialog  
prompting you for that password.

Music isn't a user app (= app from the iTunes Store). Same goes for  
Mail, because mail fetches happen even when Mail isn't running.
