Uh, maybe you missed Jobs' explanation of the concept, this will not
drain the battery in any way, because the application won't be running.
Only a single process made by Apple will receive notifications, which
then will launch the corresponding application when necessary. Whether
those notifications are for Apple's apps or the developer's doesn't
matter at all.
