[Adium-devl] Moving chat transcripts to ~/Documents/Adium

It is easy to make a spotlight plugin to search and intelligently  
index the chat transcripts wherever they live (~/Library/Application  
Support is my preference) - Source code is available from Fire.  Also  
the spotlight plugin can intelligently strip out whatever non text  
portions are in the transcript (like XML) so that the user can search  
it based on the content they expect, not the unanticipated XML or  
formatting strings we happen to save there.

-1 on moving it - These aren't documents and users WILL mess them up  
if you put it in a highly visible folder like ~/Documents

(Just my 1/2 cent)
