It really sucks that you are required to enter a valid email address.

I really, really, really do not want to have to filter out all the  
email Trac sends me after several years of ticket commenting. This is  
dumb, annoying, and serves no real purpose. Please fix it.

Additionally, not allowing our users to control how much they get  
emailed is also stupid -- people will want to use Trac even less than  
they do already because it means they will be spammed.
