Oddly enough, this install problem is gone in the upgrade from r1851
to r1860. Maybe it was a problem with the svn->hg step.

We're not reporting "svn99999" any more, since this would break hg->hg
upgrades. I am going to hard-code "svn = svn99999 version" into the
appcast.
