I'm now reversing my stand, since the (IMO) critical bug of facebook
plugin continually draining bandwidth (upwards of megabytes per
second) appears to be fixed[1]. I think we should push an updated
libpurple (not 2.6.0mtn, it's not close enough to release) with the
updated facebook plugin to fix facebook UIDs and the bandwidth killing
issue, as the final 1.3.x release (except other necessary libpurple
updates).

Assuming the bandwidth issue is, in fact, fixed, it is necessary to
get it out, since it's a completely hard-to-realize-it's-happening
bug, especially bad for users with caps.
