Regardless of 1.3.4 happening or not, I think Eric is right about
using the nightlies as 'alphas'.

I think it would be good to have more of the 1.4 and SVN Issues
milestone cleaned up before we release something to even less
experienced bug reporters.

Additionally (and perhaps not as important in actual fact as I
perceive it to be), if we currently have 24 open tickets in the 1.4
milestone, and we release an alpha, we could potentially get 35+
tickets left to fix prior to the release of a 1.4 beta (or RC). This
would seem to create possible motivation issues for getting 1.4 out
the door (more tickets = more work = less motivation to work on them).
Alternatively it could end up with more tickets being pushed to
further milestones, which is also a generally bad thing.
